Luminous Drifters , acrylic on canvas, 2026. 24" X 36" Jellyfish symbolize resilience, going with the flow, emotional balance, and gentle strength because of their boneless, drifting nature. Moving with the ocean currents rather than fighting them, they represent letting go of rigid control and trusting intuition. Though soft and translucent, their stinging tentacles remind us that vulnerability can coexist with self-protection.  The artist uses a black canvas as the backdrop to illustrate a deep-sea habitat, and arranges the group in the shape of a letter J (for jellyfish). The artist paints this jellyfish formation to study the vibrant and complex beauty of the natural world, driven by the challenge to bring out complicated colours, textures and patterns in his painting career.
